The New York Circus Arts Academy is a private educational institution, and receives no funding from Federal, State or Local governments. As a courtesy to our students, NYCAA internally funds the following forms of financial assistance to help alleviate the impact of tuition, enabling students to pursue their training goals.
Many new participants find out about our school through our enthusiastic students. NYCAA is excited to grow our community through networking, and is pleased to offer a $50 credit to any current student who brings a new participant into the program. This credit may be used toward future tuition and fee payment. Credits may not be used the same term the new participant registers, may not be used retroactively, and have no cash value. Referral credits are compatible with all other types of financial assistance.
Withdrawals will not be recognized as a referral. Only one referral credit will be granted per new student, and only students who have never taken a course at NYCAA can be referred. There is no limit to the number of new students that current students can refer.
Credit cannot be issued until a completed Referral Credit form is received.
A limited number of work-study positions are available; students receive reduced tuition in exchange for assigned work responsibilities such as venue cleaning, equipment organization, and class setup/breakdown. Students must complete registration and sign up for an available work-study position before the beginning of the term in order to participate in this program.
Students who are not able to make their entire tuition payment up front can pay the first half at the beginning of the term along with a $25 administrative fee, and pay the second half at mid-term.
